The Second International Philosophy Olympiad for Students is organised by Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University and Lomonosov Moscow State University. The first Olympiad, held in the autumn of 2022, in Kaliningrad, united more than 1100 participants from all over the world.
Philosophy Days in Kaliningrad
The Olympiad is not only a way to challenge and showcase yourself but also an excellent opportunity to visit Kaliningrad — a city in Russia's westernmost region with a fascinating history and remarkable people. Here, you will find ancient architecture, charming resort towns along the Baltic Sea, and the beaches of the Curonian Spit. It is also the city where Immanuel Kant, one of the most significant figures in world philosophy, lived and worked. Olympiad participants will have the chance to walk the same streets as Kant did and visit the 14th-century Kaliningrad Cathedral.
During the Olympiad, participants will immerse themselves in a unique atmosphere, gain inspiration from new discoveries and fresh ideas through lectures by world-renowned scholars, and explore philosophical perspectives on humanity and society in the era of rapid technological development.

Participation Conditions
Participation in the Olympiad is free. Flights costs, accommodation costs and costs of meals for the finalists will be fully covered by the Olympiad organisers..
